Based at Bunny Hill Riding Centre, I have been a qualified Farrier in the Nottinghamshire & Leicestershire areas now since 1999. 

I have been an Approved Training Farrier since 2008, completing an L11 coaching Btec and, recently, the Train a Trainer Award. To date, I have trained 8 apprentices.

In 2022, I achieved a significant career milestone by completing my Associate Farrier examinations. This rigorous exam, which focuses on remedial farriery, is a testament to my expertise. It's worth noting that only a small fraction, 10%, to be precise, of farriers hold this prestigious qualification.

In 2023, I achieved the esteemed Master Farrier status, awarded by the Worshipful Company of Farriers, further solidifying my expertise and commitment to the profession. 

In addition to standard farriery work, I offer Specialist Surgical and remedial Services for horses with a wide range of lameness or performance issues. I work closely with many of the local Veterinary Practices in the area as a referral farrier, working alongside your current farrier to achieve the best possible outcome for your horse. I am happy to liaise with your Vet to achieve the best possible outcome for your horse. I am happy to undertake consultancy work and offer a second opinion service.
